watches bronze cheap

Work in progress Cheap Bronze Watches
Better response on post Cheap Bronze WatchesOk, considering the other thread... I want one! But I am not willing to pay close to a 1000 bucks for it. So, as I am researching cheap bronzos I will keep you posted.

First off is the Magrette Vantage at around 700-800 USD, not really cheap I know - but is gets better I promise. Just read on:

- Automatic mechanical watch
- Limited to 500 pieces world wide divided between black and brown dial versions
- 24-jewel Miyota 9015 movement running at 28.800 BHP with second stop mode (hacking function)
- Case in CuSn8 alloy bronze with brushed finish
- Functional pressure escape valve, protecting the watch against pressure differences that can occur when using a decompression chamber
- Screw-in type crown with logo at 4 position
- "Double domed" sapphire crystal (strongly scratch-resistant)
- Anti reflection coating on the inside
- Sandwich dial construction with partly cut out indices, similar as the Leoncino model dial
- C3 Luminova used on hands and dial markers for good readability in darkness
- Display, screw-in type case back in DLC coated steel
- Water resistant to 500 meters
- Diameter: 44mm without crown
- This watch will be supplied with a black leather strap and bronze buckle
- Delivered in the new Magrette travel case

The automatic Miyota 9015 movement:
- Automatic winding and hand winding
- 28.800 BPH
- 24 Jewels
- Hour, minute and sweeping second hands
- Date function
- Second stop mode (hacking function) when setting time
- Shock absorber for balance staff
- Running time of more than 42 hours when fully wound

Good effort, keep it coming (lazy bastard that I am).
Let me add the Zelos Helmsman 2, which is cheaper at 399 USD

I am liking the first Helmsman better though...

I must say that Zelos has a great line up of watches... from 399 to 899 USD
Better response on post Cheap Bronze WatchesMaybe this one? The Borealis Batial is close to $445 USD

Be aware of the difference between bronze and brass though, the first gets darker reddish patina, the second greenish...
Over the years, a brass watch case worn on sweaty, salty wrists will eventually deteriorate the zinc component in brass and slowly rot the brass case as the zinc evaporates, particularly fine details like threads, lugs, bezel internals and any other thin features.

"Because many brass alloys contain a substantial amount of zinc, they are especially susceptible to “dezincification,” whereby the zinc selectively corrodes and leaves a porous copper shell that retains its shape but has little strength"
There is Makara, big though and mostly sold out...
I thought this was about my "bronze" lol, you know after some serious tanning?
